About Ekrem Maglajlija
Ekrem Maglajlija is a UEFA licensed coach, currently based in Vancouver, Canada. He has acquired a Professional Coaching Degree from the University of Sarajevo, Faculty of Physical Education - majoring in soccer.
As a player, Ekrem has competed at the highest level of European soccer with the 1st eleven for F.C. Sarajevo. In the 1967/68 UEFA Champions League - F.C. Sarajevo made it to the 2nd round competing against Manchester United but losing after the 2nd leg at Old Trafford to the likes of George Best and Bobby Charlton.
Ekrem has had a long and successful career as a professional coach, as well. Most recently, Ekrem spent a season in Macedonia (Europe) coaching the Premier League champion - Sloga Jugomagnat - and preparing them for the European Championships, where the team got through to the 2nd qualification round.
Accelerated Soccer School was founded in 2002. Since it's beginning, we have seen players develop, grow and improve, but most importantly, enjoy the game of soccer.
